About Tripura State Pollution Control Board :

     The Tripura State Pollution Control Board was set up by the Government of Tripura in the year 1988 under the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution ) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution ) Act, 1981. Accordingly, Rules namely the Tripura State Pollution Control Board (Water Pollution Control ) Rules, 1989 and the Tripura State Pollution Control Board ( Air Pollution Control) Rules, 1989 have been framed under both the Acts. The Tripura State Pollution Control Board was reconstituted as per Notification No.F.8(1)/DSTE/ENV/Pt-II/4315-4413 dated November 15, 2000 with the following members.
